Choosing a floor works better at home
A grey laminate or a stone-effect vinyl can look completely different in a shop compared with your own kitchen. By bringing the samples to you, we take the guesswork out of matching floors to your units, walls and furniture.
With no high street premises to run, our overheads stay low and our prices follow. We're with you from the first visit to fitting and aftercare, and we take care of floor prep — screeding and ply boarding — when it's needed.
What our customers say
Genuine Google reviews for Floor Coverings Local, the family business behind Mobile Carpets & Flooring Shop Barnsley.
Brilliant service, very quick and easy from making our first enquiry to getting a quote and getting it fitted. We had a full house fitted with both carpet and laminate. Everything was explained to us clearly and no hidden charges. The day of the fitting went very smoothly. The fitters arrived as arranged and were hardworking and got the whole house done very quickly to a very high standard. I would highly recommended floor coverings local.
