Getting the joins right between rooms
The trickiest part of reflooring a house is often where one floor meets another — laminate in the hall running up to carpet on the stairs, or vinyl in a back kitchen meeting the lounge. Planning those changes together avoids awkward height differences and mismatched colours.
Whether it's a stone terrace in Penistone, a semi in Kingstone or a newer house in Royston with an open-plan kitchen-diner, we'll lay the samples next to each other in place so you can see how the whole floor flows.

Questions about mixing carpet and hard floors
Can you do the carpets and the hard floors in one job?
Yes, that's exactly what we're set up for. We'll bring carpet, vinyl, LVT and laminate samples on the same visit, measure the whole house and give you one quote covering every room.
What should I put down in a kitchen or bathroom?
For rooms that get wet, vinyl or LVT is the practical choice. Most LVT is waterproof, and cushioned vinyl is warm and comfortable underfoot. We'll show you both on the visit.
How do you join carpet and laminate in a doorway?
We finish the change between floors with a door plate or threshold so the edges are protected and the join sits neatly. Free door plates come with our full house deals.
Why don't you have a showroom in Barnsley?
Running a mobile showroom instead of a shop keeps our overheads low, and that's reflected in our prices. It also means you choose each floor in the room it's going in.
Can I spread the cost with finance?
No, we don't offer finance at the moment. You can pay by any major credit or debit card, or in cash.
What if my floor isn't level?
Hard floors in particular need a flat base. Where it's needed we screed concrete floors or ply-board over floorboards before fitting, and we'll include that in your quote.
